Field Trip series, 2015
The Field Trip series, with its vibrant colours, glitter and ingenious image-editing techniques, conveys the euphoria of young festival-goers experiencing moments of unfettered freedom—which Sarah Anne Johnson knows first-hand to be fleeting. The artist reveals a world oscillating between reality and utopia, joy and nostalgia.
