The young curators selected by Manif d’art for the Quebec Biennial interpret the thematic proposal of the international curator. With privileged mentorship, they design exhibitions showcasing local artists, scattered across various locations in the region. This initiative fosters their training, professional development, and networking, opening up major professional opportunities. The new exhibitions, created by these young curators, reflect diverse sensibilities to engage varied audiences, realizing the goal of making art accessible to the entire community. Through this aspect, the organization also highlights emerging artists. Our curators have complete freedom to choose the artists they wish to exhibit.

« Supporting emerging talent has always been part of the mission of the Loto-Québec Collection. Thus, we are proud to encourage the four young curators from the 2024 cohort. The training provided to them enables them to learn how to master the stages of designing an exhibition, while offering a personal perspective on local artworks and artists. Loto-Québec invites the public to discover their projects during this 11th edition of the Quebec City Biennial.” »

- Eric Meunier, directeur de l’engagement sociétal à Loto-Québec.
