Alexis Vanasse
Nos empreintes lointaines
The works of Alexis Vanasse weave unexpected encounters between objects of diverse natures. A vase holding a flower stands alongside the reflective bands of construction workers. These improbable yet poetic scenes invite us to observe materials, their textures, and perhaps perceive an unexpected harmony. The artist’s poetry reveals itself as much in his compositions as in the titles he gives them.
